Teenage Engineering OP-1

Production Process:
I purchased my OP1 in Brooklyn during a Tame Impala tour in 2013. I immediately started playing around and recording with it at the back of the tour bus. I was amazed at the wide range of options that tiny little thing was offering. At that moment my girlfriend was about to leave to Nepal for a trek in the Annapurnas. I wanted to create a little soundtrack for her. It was a way for me to be with her while she was walking. So there I was, driving along the endless straight roads of America, dreaming of the Himalayan mountains. I think my girlfriend managed to listen to them once during her trip but then her iPod ran out of battery and she didn’t have a charger so that was it!
