TB 303, TR 606, Casio SK-1, Synare 3, Texas Instruments Translator

Production process:
The robotic vocal phrases are taken from the Texas Instruments Translator, as used by Kraftwerk on 'Computer World'. Selecting from the large palette of words available on the module's German and French cartridges, we tried to imply a paranoid journey through a large city subway. The drums are provided by a TR-606, and the dual basslines by a pair of TB-303s with Devilfish modifications. The stepping melody at the coda uses the piano preset on a Casio SK-1, and the slightly offbeat 'pow' that starts each phrase is delivered by a Synare 3.
