This track is a soundscape for Canary Wharf, the purpose built centre for London's post-Thatcher finance industry. It uses samples I recorded of the Jubilee Line and DLR and brings out their drone qualities. The System 700 and other 'old school' synths in my collection make up the electronic drones and pulses. The sample snippets are from an interview I did with a former London stockbroker and analyst, whistle blower Geraint Anderson, who wanted to expose 'the madness at the centre of the finance industry'. Geraint described himself as 'old school'.

The sort of music that is beyond time. The sort of music that you feel more than you hear. I love the fact that vaporwave/dreampunk projects like these have such extremely evocative aesthetics they directly fill your mind with sensations you didn't know you had. You'd maybe think it relies on that solely, but it's coupled with gorgeous musicianship + intense production ideas. The volume and spaces it creates just pull you in instantly whatever your initial mood was. Still stunning to this day. SUPRAQUENCER
