Mobile Gear:
iPad 3 and iPad Air 2 with Egoist, Audioshare, Samplr and AUM apps, Teenage Engineering OP-1

Production process:
I started this track a few years ago when I recorded my daughter Olivia and her cousin Lucas talking, singing and having fun while doing some arts and crafts at the kitchen table in Daylesford, Australia. For this recording I used iPad 3, its built-in microphone and Audioshare app. Later I imported these vocal samples into Egoist where they were chopped for some rhythmic effects and into Samplr app which allowed me to trigger and manipulate the recordings in various ways. The bulk of the composition is also created in Egoist which allows one to link multiple patterns into a song. At the later stage of production, I also captured my own voice using the iPad mic again. Finally, I synced Egoist and OP1 synth and recorded everything into the AUM app using iPad Air 2. The OP1 provided various synth engines that were manipulated live while recording into AUM.
